Everything a weekly game actually needs.

Put the night on the calendar

Date, buy-in, seat count — a game takes a minute to post. Your card room gets a month calendar everyone can read at a glance.

RSVPs, alternates and strikes

Regulars claim a seat. Latecomers queue as ranked alternates, ready to move up when a seat opens. No-shows pick up a strike, and three of them suspends a player automatically.

Run the table live

Log buy-ins and rebuys as they happen and watch every stack move through the night on one chart. No spreadsheet open on the rail.

The ledger

It records what people did with cash — it never moves money and never takes a rake. Close the game and the ledger locks, balances, and tells you who owes whom.

Leaderboard and seasons

One running leaderboard for the room, on every plan. Pro adds seasons, so a league can run for months and archive itself when it ends.

Your own address

Every card room lives at yourname.onthebutton.app from day one. Pro adds your own domain, every theme pack, and a custom accent colour.

Email under your own name

Invites, reminders and results go out carrying your card room’s name. Email is the only channel there is — nothing to install, and nothing sold on.

AI concierge, and MCP for Pro

Ask your card room questions in plain language — who is seated, how someone runs, what is on the calendar. Every plan includes it with a daily message cap; Pro raises the cap and opens an MCP endpoint you can point Claude at.

Settling up, to the cent.

The spreadsheet version of a poker night is one person's memory plus everyone's rounding. OnTheButton records each buy-in and each cash-out as it happens, and the moment the game closes the ledger locks and balances. What comes out is the shortest list of who pays whom — and nothing else, because it never moves money and never takes a rake.

Questions hosts actually ask.

Yes. The free plan runs two games a calendar month at one location, with unlimited members and guests, and never asks for a card. Pro is US$12 a month or US$99 a year, for when your game outgrows that.

No. It records what people did with cash at the table — buy-ins, cash-outs, and who ends up owing whom — and stops there. There is no wallet, no rake, and no cut of any game. Settling up happens between you, however you already do it.

No. It is a bookkeeping tool for a private game you already run. It deals no cards, holds no funds, facilitates no wagering, and takes no commission. You remain responsible for following the law where you play.

Only the people you let in. Each card room is walled off with its own members, games and history — nothing crosses between rooms, and a room is never listed publicly or indexed by search engines. You can export your data at any time.

A host can seat someone who has no account at all. A guest is a real player on the roster with real buy-ins and real results. Send them a claim link whenever you like and their whole history moves across onto their own account.

Every card room gets yourname.onthebutton.app the day it is created. Pro attaches your own domain instead, and unlocks every theme pack plus a custom accent colour.

A chat assistant that answers questions about your own card room — who is seated on Friday, how a player has been running, what is on the calendar. Every plan includes it with a daily message cap. Pro raises the cap and opens an MCP endpoint, so you can point Claude or another MCP client straight at your room.

Nothing you already have goes anywhere. Scheduling a third game inside the same calendar month is the point where you are asked to upgrade; your members, your history and every game already on the books stay exactly where they are.

Your next game is on Friday.
